KTAR News
Short-form/Social Videos:
These short-form videos demonstrate my ability to elevate audio-first content through visual storytelling and intentional pacing. Each piece was edited, captioned, and formatted for social media with a focus on engaging visuals and narrative clarity. The “3 Things You Need to Know” video is part of a recurring news series that airs three times a week. For each episode, I manage the full production workflow — from setting up the studio (lighting, mics, camera, and teleprompter) to editing and optimizing the final video for digital distribution.
These short-form videos highlight my ability to identify key moments from long-form, podcast-style radio segments and transform them into scroll-stopping digital content. Each piece was edited, captioned, and formatted for social media — with a focus on tight scripting, compelling hooks, and platform-specific pacing. I work closely with hosts and show producers to shape story angles and ensure each piece aligns with the tone and goals of the original broadcast.
Long-form/YouTube Videos:
For this long-form segment, I managed full production in the field — traveling off-site to conduct interviews, capture b-roll, and oversee all technical aspects, including lighting, audio, and framing. I also led post-production, crafting a cohesive narrative through editing and writing all copy for digital distribution. This story was published on YouTube and the KTAR website as part of a broader push to explore Arizona’s evolving economy and infrastructure.
This segment showcases my core responsibilities at KTAR: editing long-form video content and preparing it for publication across YouTube and the KTAR News website. I handled all post-production — from editing the segment to designing the thumbnail, crafting the title, and writing a search-optimized description. Projects like this reflect my focus on thoughtful, platform-aware storytelling and clean, professional delivery for web audiences.

Short-form/Social Videos:
These short-form videos show my ability to bring radio sports commentary to digital life. From reactions to player analysis, these clips reflect my ability to cut through long-form audio and pull out the most compelling, shareable moments. Each video is edited, captioned, and optimized for platform delivery — with graphics, headlines, and pacing crafted for the fast-moving world of sports media.
This clip, featuring two Arizona Cardinals rookies, was adapted from a podcast segment into a visually engaging short-form video. I edited the piece to highlight entertaining moments, added captions and visual pacing to enhance watchability, and designed the framing and layout for strong performance on social and YouTube. The goal was to elevate a casual conversation into a dynamic, platform-ready segment that captured the personalities of the players and kept viewers hooked.
Long-form/YouTube Videos:
These long-form videos reflect my post-production role on Arizona Sports’ digital team. I’m responsible for editing each video and crafting all the elements that drive audience engagement — including titles, descriptions, and thumbnail design, all with YouTube SEO and viewer retention in mind.
Whether it's shaping a strong hook, writing copy that boosts search visibility, or designing visuals that stop the scroll, I approach every piece with strategy and storytelling at the core.
